Informal Bio: I am a partner at Evans & Company Family Lawyers, a family law-only practice at Bundall. I've been a lawyer for 23 years and started Evans & Company 20 years ago.

I am in my 40's, married to another family lawyer, Fiona Browne, and have two school-aged children.

Like most others, I struggle for a life balance, worrying about clients when not at work and worrying about being a good enough parent when working (particularly during weekends and during early morning and late night prep).

My practice has organically grown to now comrpise 8 family lawyers, mainly through training graduates as family lawyers - that has been quite a rewarding role.

To stay sane, I routinely put loud music on and try to stay fit as getting out of breath and hurting temporarily makes me forget clients and work issues. Otherwise, I am a taxi driver to kids' sports and activities on weekends.

Feel free to be in touch if you want to discuss any GCDLA or other issues at any time.
